New nail gun

I went to my local lumber center today to pick up some batteries and stopped by the tool display to see if there were any new tools that I hadn't
noticed before. I didn't particularly need a framing gun as I already have a
cordless Paslode that I have had for years, but I got to looking at a Senco
901XP frame gun that was there and noticed that the regular price was
299.95. Below that was a red tag with 150.00 on it so I went over to the
counter and asked the man if that was a good price. He checked and said
it was so I put it on my charge and walked out with a brand new frame gun.
After getting back home, I went to the Do It Best hardware website, and
sure enough, the gun was priced at 299.95. A day or two later, I was in
Home Depot and they had 247.95 on the same gun, so I figured I scored
a pretty good deal considering that I probably won't use it very much at
all, but it sure does feel good when you can buy a brand new tool at half
the regular price, and when you do need it- you have it.

I did buy a 'cheapo' HF framing gun for my recent remodeling project. Even though I probably don't have a lot of use for one, it sure is a handy thing to have around when you need one.

Wish I'd see a deal like yours though!

Don- I haven't taken the time yet to learn how to post pictures- besides,
I'll have to get my granddaughter to help me, she's the one who has a
camera and can probably show me how to post. All this newfangled electronic computerized stuff is GREEK to me, but tools aren't- I think I
understand them real good.
