Turning Larry wood

I started turning the wood that came from Larry's wood pile NICE spalted maple. I also found a good use for the Unisaw. The round out of the material on the band saw came out to 8" & then onto the lathe.

How are you chucking that?
Holding spalted in a chuck is a formula for creating a flying object.
