I was asked to make some things for someone who collects dolls hsouses. These are 1/2th scale so equate to being a 12" bowl and a 9" tall vase. Made of beech. The coin is a 5p piece, not sure of the equivalent size coin in foreign money:huh:

Great Job there. It's hard to do details on mineatures.

Our doll houses, this side of the pond, are not as grand, they are 1/12 scale.

If I remember correctly, your 5p is about the size of our nickle (5 cents).

I'll bet you guys had to add a lot of ballast to your lathes to be able to swing those monsters without having your lathes go walking across the shop. :D The sanding must have been a killer, too. :rofl:
