    Been playing with crotches

I have an abundance of hawthorn at the moment. None of it particularly big but it can produce some unusual shapes with the crotches where you often get several branches coming from the same point.

This is 6" at the largest dimension

and this one is about 6 1/2" diameter

The latter one sold within an hour of posting on another forum to someone who had never seen a crotch bowl before.

    C&C welcome

    Pete

You had me worried there for a minute Pete...

I agree with Mohammad... great shapes to those pieces... very artsy *artsy.

Awesome work, Pete. Really like both of them a lot.

I see why the bottom bowl sold so quickly, especially this close to Valentine's Day. Nice work on both, Pete.

Both are beauties. The bottom one is really nice.
