    another watch

    This one is out of a piece of cherry burl. I really like it but am not sure which side is the top because of no grain direction.

    Probably best to have the top where the 12 is

    Seriously this is really good, I have seen these little watches in the craft stores but hadn't thought of using them to make pocket watches with.

    This looks great. I'm going to try one of these. I'm going to try to make one using my new "pendant" backer plate and offset the timepiece and add a hole at top of disk for a chain to be added.
