    spalted gum box

    don't think i posted this.It's spalted gum with cherry final and base.it's 4x 5 3/4 finished with3 coats danish oil. i really like making these, and i think the final is a lot thinner. I tryed putting a nickle edge ways to show the thickness but my camera kept acting up. Owell here's the pics all comments welcome.

    When I first saw the title of this thread, I was thinking A) I didn't know people could get spalted chewing gum, and B) I didn't know people would need boxes to store their spalted chewing gum in.

    Thanks all. That gum sure had a lot of sap that when turning allmost looked like chewing gum.
