Like Don, I am a former Californian and now Arizonan. I prefer to think that California finally caught up with us in Arizona, but that doesn't last year 'round!

I used to run around the house resetting all the clocks. Now, in this age of technology and wireless everything, I only have to reset two. My wrist watch and my truck.

I still think daylight savings time is silly... if you want to save some daylight, get up earlier when the sun comes up, go to bed earlier when the sun sets... like the farmers used to do.. work from sun up to sun set...

Is it true that those who do not participate in daylight savings time are just wasting time ALL year instead of half the year?

Daylight Savings Time? Meh. I'm just going to set my clocks ahead half an hour and see how I like it. Maybe next week I'll do the other forty minutes.

And why do we have to get up at 2:00 AM twice a year to change our clocks anyway? Just doesn't make sense. Why not something reasonable like 10:30, AM or PM, your choice.
