my only daughter is in the hospital having her 1st child as I write this.... expecting all to go well...but, at the same time,a co-worker just lost his 3 yo grandson the other day. been sick since birth, and I can't imagine how he feels, as this was his only grandchild. things like this keeps life in perspective, don't it.....

I'm proud, yet heavy hearted, as Uncle Bill is a fine man, and to lose your only Grandchild.... I can't begin to know what he's feeling. Keep them in your prayers Fellows....

Ditto what Bob said. Congrats to your family and condolences to Uncle Bill's. Quite an example of the extremes of happiness and sorrow.

My parents taught me to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find any.
If you go looking for trouble, it will usually find you.
