    Lipstick on Pigs?

Perhaps, but I'm happy with them. Cheap saws, in a woeful state, were given to me by my big brother for possible scraper stock. Both saws had THTs (truly horrible totes,Jeff). The larger one had a broken handle (sorry no pic) and the smaller is pictured before renovation. First saw handles for me. Wood is from a Sugar Maple we used to enjoy. Finish is BLO. The longer one I filed rip, the shorter crosscut. Both cut very nicely. Thanks for looking.

Great save. I have a Great Neck #5 plane that my neighbor in California had and couldn't do a thing with. I little sharpening some tuning and it's a great user..
