Have you read the article on Finewoodworking.com about the new "kickback shield"? The article says you use a special push stick.
Everything I've ever read about push-sticks always recommend one that will put pressure on the stock farther away from the end nearest the operator. If you look at the picture of the two push sticks they're using I would think that they would create a kickback.
Just curious of others reaction to the article.
