I didn't know John Deere made lathes. Maybe it is just the color. Looks like a nice machine but I would need a bigger shop.

You can have mine. Feeding it with big logs seems real job.
I am going to get a flat rate box tomorrow morning.
If you are going to do big, big stuff, look at the VB-36. It has 2-1/2" spindle, not the tiny 1-1/2". For me, setting up the 40 mm (over 1-1/2") tool rest post is a work out.
