Sliding Door Hardware Question

I was wondering how this sliding door hardware is installed? The sheaves look like they might be installed by drilling into the inside of the bottom rail - or by putting the bottom rail together in three sections (face, middle, back) leaving a slots or spaces for the sheaves. It doesn't look like a biscuit cutter would work due to being too wide.

Or maybe I'm missing the easy installation method.
I couldn't find anything online or from the manufacturer.
Thanks for any help!
Wes

Or DUH, would one mortise a slot?

Wes, that looks a lot like the sliders that I use on the Andersen windowall doors I install....actually the screen portion of the door.

It is in this case a continous piece with a "slot" for the slider. I have never installed them since they come to me already to "pop" into the frame.

Don't know if that helps, but it's the best I got.:dunno:

Thank you gents. I'm not sure I'm going to use them, but I was curious about the time/methods used for installation.

Thanks for the information and support.

Wes
