Wayne there is nothing very special about the stuff I do, it's very basic in form compared with many turners, just keep the shape simple, add a bit of decoration if felt it enhances the wood character and concentrate on finishing to remove tool or sanding marks.

Then forget about all the various witches brues etc. that are talked about as being 'the thing' for finishing.

All my latest pieces have just been sanding sealed with celulose and buffed to remove any sealer blemishes then given a buff with carnauba wax, quick simple and leaves the wood to speak for itself.
