Finish Deterioration

Larry Pre-cat is the easiest finish in the world to use. Open the can and spray. BUT ! make sure your sealer is comparable with the finish and you have perpaired the piece to receive the lacquer.

dave i have sprayed it and what i was referring to for him was if he hasnt sprayed and doesnt have the right thinner he can lock up a gun easy that stuff drys and its over. and it doesnt sand well.. if at all. you need to have your piece ready before you start precat ..at least that was my experience..

MC Cambell is the product I use and there sanding sealer sands nice so dose there finish but I prefer to wet sand the finish. I'm not sure what type of Lacquer thinner I am using, I've been using it so long I call my distributor and tell him what I need and he sends me what I have always ordered LOL No sence in changing the horse in the middle of the stream.
