    RIP RJD - Dio passes

I enjoy a rather wide variety of music. My system is busy ripping one of my Mozart sets right now. I also have plenty of Yngwie, PM5K and Dio. A surprisingly generous man who's actions in life belied his professional image. Ronnie the Roar will be missed.

Yep, he was a pioneer and master of the genre. I was surprised to see he was 67 years old. I have a hard time picturing a retirement-aged guy singing heavy metal. From the reports I've read, he still had some serious pipes when he was on tour last year.

I believe he took over for Ozzy Osborne in Black Sabbath.
