Anyone ever hear of a Sterling Packard Shaper

A guy down in Yuma has one for sale. Not much details. I sent him an E mail asking for more info. All he says about is "Sterling Wood shaper model 837. This thing is like a large inverted router, I believe it is for making things like ornamental railings for stair cases, trim for home interiors, cabinetry and other large jobs. It is in good condition. Make me an offer." There was absolutely nothing about the manufacturer on OWWM.

I have looked and looked and I find nothing. Just a couple of references to one at auction or something like that. Not a single photo. I am thinking it may not be old and/or it is a specialized industrial tool.
God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.
