    any ideas?

    my dad picked up this tool at a sale a few yrs back, and I've tried to find out about it. nothing. nadda. The box says it's a Chicago,Ill. company, but nadda on them either...
    it's called the Shop Chief portable sander..works on a drill... vintage, for sure

    It's an old belt sander that works on a drill. No need to thank me, just glad to be of help.
    Daily Thought: SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES..... NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS...............

    I think it can be classed as just an old tool. Collectors value is probably nil. Try it on eBay.
