Possibly the Most Amazing Pencil Drawings You'll See Today

Note that the fine print says only the four pics of the domestic cats are authentic.

The rest may have been Photo-shopped.

Good work in any medium, though.

I missed that fine print. Where'd you see it?

One of the comments points to a photographer's website - http://www.lumas.de/?id=618&type=0&wid=1071&artist=592&ed=

Another comment: "Not really “drawing” by the strictest meaning of the word — He’s essentially copying the dot-spray of a photo printer. He does spend a lot of time doing it, but a lot of these images are familiar photographs that have been duplicated. The best you could do is call this *really* fine pointillism. Good work, but I’d like to see originals instead of duplicates of photos. Copying the fine dot pattern of a print-out requires dedication, but not necessarily talent."

I had seen the comment about duplicating the dot pattern of a printer, but don't see any references indicating they're not all done with a pencil. (Then again, my German is pretty schwach.)

Nice Vaughn. He is a very patient artist. When doing this type of work you have to be to let the drawing unfold and see the dark's and lights emerge as he works his pencil.
Thanks for sharing.
