    Grizzlys Polar Bear Line?

The blurb I read states it will be the same exact machines, but a different color and lower price? What am I missing?

Just to be clear, I've got Grizz Green in my shop, so not looking to bash them. Just not sure why a different color should be cheaper...

I just seen that post also. Makes no since. Same everything, but different color, drop price? Maybe they got a better deal on white paint than green? That would be to only way I can figure it out.

Note that it only says introductory prices will be lower.

I suspect that this may have something to do with the recently settled lawsuit Jet brought against Grizzly/Shop Fox regarding white tools.

So maybe just a victory dance by the Grizz?

I think it a way to pump sales without having to show folks who buy the green ones that they paid 25% too much. It's a marketing ploy.

    Hello Jim,

Can you point to reference to this lawsuit? I'm curious.

It was mentioned in Woodshop News, maybe a year ago, but I haven't seen anything about it lately.

Maybe since they are shipping into Canada now ( about time) this is a new line for a new market. It would make sence being called the polar line.

I found these tools rebranded to Polar Bear.

Darn....no lathe included. But the 17" bandsaw looks kinda tempting at $698

Yep, introductory prices only. Buy quick if you can.
As for the marketing scheme .
Rob, are you there? Wassup with this deal?
