    Just so people know what you're talking about Chuck, I'll mention that it's the annual American Association of Woodturners (AAW) national symposium in Hartford, Connecticut.

    Hmmm, Hartford is about 2-1/2 hours from me. It would be fun to go. Maybe bring a few resumes with me. might be a good place to prospect for a job. Quite a few potential employers for a old tool and fastener guy like myself

    Money. I passed on the symposium last year in Albuquerque for the same reason, and I even have family there so I'd have free lodging. I'll catch it another year when I'm a bit more flush.

    Little to far for me once again this year, but I will be going next year when its in St. Paul...I can drive there and stay with family.
