Hi Cynthia;Not a chance, this has never ever happened to me. I'm a way too experienced a woodworker to ever let that happen to me.
I hear this happens to many other woodworkers, but never ever had it happen to me!
Would you be looking to buy a bridge by any chance? I have one to sell!

Go up to the Organ Build thread. You will see that a lot of us have made enough mistakes in measuring, cutting, gluing, etc., to make several organs. It’s hard to measure, cut, glue and screw over 500 parts only once, and have it work right, at least for me.
