    cheap gloat

I went to a neighbors garage sale yesterday. They were selling out his shop and there wasn't much left I could use. But, I spotted this for $3.00. Didn't really know what it was but I saw it was an Incra thimagingy and anything by Incra costs more than $3.00. Current sale prices are $69.99, regular is $99.99. If I use it once it will be worthwhile.

Congrats, Frank. Welcome to the world of Incra. Even though yours is the most basic of the ones they make, it's still a pretty handy device. Especially for three bucks.

Alan, it's the original Incra jig. It can be used (typically on a router table or drill press) to accurately set the fence to specific distances from the blade (in 1/32" increments), and do it repeatedly.

    Here's more about it:

Sounds like that was one sale you should have gotten out of bed sooner for!
