    buckboard bench

A friend of mine made one of these a couple of years ago. I've been wanting to make one since I saw his. I finally broke down and got the hardware kit for the bench. The wood is walnut.

Cool, as a kid I remember that my uncle had one on the farm, wasn't near as nice, course it was from a real buckboard..

Nice looking project John. I would like to build/have one, but LOML isn't sold on it. It makes funding this hobby much easier when the CFO wants the projects you build.

Very cool, John. The walnut adds a classy aspect to a fairly rustic idea. Where did you find the hardware?

    Thanks,

I did order it from Rockler. Vandykes also carries them. It was a fun project to build. It's surprisingly comfortable to sit on also.
