Weekend Auctions

No regrets on my part Larry. Having attended all these auctions as of late, I don't feel guilty about anything. I have seen tables and chair go for $25 a set. Beautiful cabinets and other stuff going for in the $40's. Amazing. Most go to antique dealers, who then make up the price.

Ass for the birdseye. I first thought it was a fungus on the board until I wiped it off. Huh, the spots stayed. Guess that shows how much figured wood I see around here.
 
I'm betting somewhere, somehow, some ol' boy is looking down smiling, glad to see his wood's going to good use instead of collecting dust. :thumb:

Yep, like Vaughn said, some ole angel is looking down with a big grin knowing his wood pile didn't become a big bonfire. Have no regrets, understand the fellow wanting all to know all the prices on paper, no special deals, they rolled the dice, you just won the bet is all!!!:thumb::thumb:
