Hey Toni :wave: Hope you get chance to watch the Semi today between Spain and Germany.

My money has been on Spain from the beginning so we will see today if they progress to the final.

Wishing them all the luck they need. :thumb:

I ignore most pro sports all the time... but I confess I've gotten a bit caught up in the world cup fever.

I had my orange shirt on yesterday -- My folks are post-WWII immigrants from The Netherlands, so it does give me someone to cheer for, given that Canada was nowhere to be seen.

But I confess some of the arcane rules really puzzle me. The end of the Holland/Uruguay game yesterday was a prime example. The ref just kept the clock ticking and ticking. Even the commentators were confused as to why he hadn't called the game yet, and at one point a cameraman ran onto the field since he thought the ref had ended the game, when he was just handing out a yellow card.

Soccer/futbol/whatever is a huge bore to me. I met a soccer ref at a social event a few months ago. He told me they sometimes let a game run over, just for the heck of it, at their discretion. Can you see this happening in the NFL or NBA? It would be war.
