What I said...What he heard

Count yer blessings.
The new tractor will cost you less over time than an old one.
I owned, and used, antique tractors for decades. They require constant attention and parts replacement. Even if the actual (very high) cost of the parts is not counted, there is an expense in the days and weeks spent on the Internet and telephone searching the country for antique replacement parts.
Enjoy the 'new' tractor. :thumb:

Now lets compromise shall we...don't you have an old pathfinder sitting around?

Surely you know by now Sharon that you don't just poke a small hole in the dam for a drink of water? :)

You're thinking this...

And ole Brent is now dreaming...

Heh, Just the results of a discussion in the pool that spilled over onto the interwebs....

The actual likelyhood of me getting a tractor is pretty close to nil

I definitely won't be visiting the pool anytime soon.

Maybe he can get a tractor after he completes his 2010 list (in 2010)...

  • Fireplace
  • Entertainment Center
  • Kitchen Floor
  • Hallway Floor
  • Paint Great Room
  • Carpeting in GreatRoom
  • Window Trim in Great Room
  • Kitchen Cabinet
  • Table
  • Benches
  • Chairs
  • Ceiling Fan
  • Generator

And this was HIS list, not his Honey-Do list :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Oh, and that is after I get my GTO as well :thumb::thumb::thumb:

You and my wife must never meet. I don't think Brent and I would survive the embarrassment of the two you trying to top each other with the durations of some of our "projects". I am hoping to finish up my ten year fence project this month. My wife is not holding her breath though. She still does not understand the pre-planning that is needed for these things.

Bill, after 10 years, won't it need replacing soon?:rofl::rofl:
