Hi guys i havent posted much on here but i enjoy reading the post quite a bit seems i can always learn something from them. Anyway I thought i would share the progress of my new shed I needed some space in the garage so I finallay took some time to build a shed its 10x10 with 8' walls and its 13' to the top of the peak. I still have to put siding on and build some doors. Let me know what you think thanks.

I think it looks good also Kevin:thumb: is there going to be a storage loft in it? I put one in mine and it sure does give a lot of extra storage space:)

Looking good so far, Kevin. :thumb: Now that you've teased us with these pics, you know we're gonna be expecting to see more as the project progresses. ;)

Very, very nice. I like loft and the fact that it's on a concrete slab. Here's a couple of shots of one I built in '08. I kept it at 8'x8' and it sits on skids so I wouldn't need a permit (local restrictions). For now it is used for storage but once the garage is rebuilt my wife has claimed it to become her potting shed.

+1 on what Ken said. I too like the fact its on concrete base and the plan to use the roof space.:thumb: Roy that overhanging roof with the trimmings sure make yours an eye catcher.:)

Must be nice here we have to get a permit for even one of those sheds.
And I basically live in the country..

Thanks for the nice comments Roy I like the look of that shed. Technically i am suppossed to have a permit here but so far no one has complained so i dont think the city will give me trouble. I thought the storage above would be nice. I sill havent decided on what type of siding i want. So it may be a couple weeks untill its complete. But i will post more pictures along the way. I also have to build the doors does anybody have a good idea on how to finish the doors. i think i am going to have to build them on site and probably just end up painting them but i was hoping for something with a little less maintenace than paint. Ideas are welcomed

Personally, I think it looks great! When can you deliver it to my place? :D :thumb:

I am new to this forum and can't resist myself for posting. I can see that there are many talented members here who are really technically sound with wood working and house building. Mr. Kevin, I am really impressed with your work. Specially its roofing. Nicely designed. :thumb:
