My soap stone shaving kit. Real fun project. Now I need to make a hanger for the brush and razor. Took three attempts on the brush handle. I kept getting it to thin where the knob goes. Next time I Well select a smaller knob also. This was the largest size.

Tooo Cool!

Project 1 at the new house next year (after unpacking) is going to be gutting one ugly pink Bathroom. I'd love to go with deep rich tones, and that soapstone would be super for a countertop... I could just see a set like that on the double sink (well my side anyway).

Where did you find the razor kit and what make/model blades does it accept?

Answers:

Razor, knob and soap all from Golden Nib.

Uses MACH 3 blades which is what all the kits I've seen use.

Never thought of a lid (darn great idea) Next one... I'm trying to picture a stand for the brush and razor, out of wood (dark I think).

Thanks for the nice comments. I have some alabaster to try someday when I get brave.
