Opinions on finishes in new (to me) house

Well here are some of the finishes in the house I just moved into. They look iffy to me. Here's some baseboard molding and transition between hall and powder room. Opinions?

I'm not sure what you're seeing or asking about in the trim finishes. Is it the color tones of the wood, or something else?

Your base molding looks a bit unusual. I haven't seen a profile like that before. Looks almost like door casing

Depends if you like a natural finish or paint I guess. Once you paint it you're in trouble if you decide you liked the natural look better
