    California Fires...

Hey All of our California brothers & sisters.... how far are you from the fires that are burning is SoCal right now.... I've looked but can't find a site map that shows where the fires are burning, but they look pretty bad... lots of houses have been burned and/or in danger of being burned.

I've been wondering the same thing. Vaughn and everyone okay?

God and family, the rest is icing on the cake. I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place!

I'm pretty sure the current fires are pretty far north of Vaughn, not sure about the other members. Hope everyone is doing OK.

Chuck, so far the Crown Fire is on the other side of the mountain from us, and not threatening us at all. It's the dry season, so everybody's paying attention pretty well, but they can start up just about anywhere.

It was a bit less than a year ago that we had front row seats to the Station Fire.

Don't forget Riot Season, which is kind of like Leap Year. Only comes along every once in a while.

That's a riot ... I remember being relatively new in L.A. during the Watts Riots... fortunately, I was living in Huntington Beach and working at LAX airport, so didn't have to go through the area.
