    Fridays Auction

Here is the after action report for the weekends auctions. Friday night was the good one to be at. Counted 6 planes total. 1 got held back as the crowd was leaving and they were afraid the money was leaving. It was a #6 corrugated.

I ended up with 4 of the 5 that were sold. Also picked up some other items.

Stanley Defiance #3 in size. Not sure if that is how Defiance are numbered.

    #4 Handyman

#5 WW 2 with the plastic wheel

A Craftsman #4 in size. Really pretty never used.

Got this for $5, no brand name

    Got this for $5 also.

Father in law bought these for me while I was helping a guy load a Shop Smith.

Thats it for this weekends travels. Not a bad haul.

I don't know diddley about the hand planes, but a couple of those turning tools look like they were involved in a severe catch! Good scores if hand planes curl your world!!

God and family, the rest is icing on the cake. I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place!

I wouldn't complain either. Just didn't know if it was a camera spoof or if it really was bent. Someone had a good hold or now we know why they were for sale!!!

Nice haul, Steve. I don't think I've seen a Defiance plane before. Was it more of a home shop product, or intended for pros?

Not sure on the market behind the Defiance line. Maybe Jim will see this and chime in. Figured for $10 couldn't go wrong. Oh that was $10 for a whole box of stuff.

The #6 will go up at the next auction. After 5 hours the buyers had started to leave. If I go to the next one and can get it, to Michigan it will be shipped.
