    Sycamore Tip Jar

Hi all! I finished the tip jar from my "projects under way" thread, actually finished it a week ago but I've been so busy with everything I have just gotten around to posting the final pic's. Here it is....

Who says a square peg won't fit in a round hole? Let me at a lathe for a few minutes and it will!

I've seen this piece in person - twice - and it's a real keeper. These pictures don't do it justice.

Now, Mike, post the cocobolo piece we saw on Saturday!

    You mean this one?

You're talking about this one, right? And thanks for the kind words....AND you are right, the pic's don't really do it justice but I haven't got my light tent set up yet. Thanks again Nancy.

Thanks Vaughn! That Cocobolo piece was in a 2 month display out at the Sunport this past Dec/Jan. The New Mexico Wood Turners got use of a large display case for the holiday season and many of the members put pieces in it.
