I posted the initial parts build for a couple of these a while back. I finally got some other stuff out of the way and got around to assembling one. Good thing too as I'm going to visit mom and dad today and this one is for her.

Someone ws asking about how the pic, matte and glass got held in so here's a shot of the back:

And a little detail shot. I used hammered cut steel nails to pin the tenons:

Thanks guys. I hope she'll see the humor in the picture, She is on the verge of letting out a big laugh. Hard to believe she's 86 already . . . why that would make me . .. oh, never mind.

i can see where you get it from she is better looking than your dad:) and maybe the personality comes from both.. she kinda looks like she's been up to something:) nice work glenn and the corner details are great..:thumb:
 
Very nice Glenn.:thumb: One of these days I get to doing some real woodworking like that!

I like how you use a slot cutter to hang the picture frames. I think I might have to borrow that one.
