    maple with zebra final and base

    Don't really no what there called, that's why i call them boxes. Any way here's one more. It is made from a small crotch piece of Larrys maple and a piece of his zebrawood. It's 4 1/4x 6 3/4 just lacquar finish.

    very nice

    That is a great looking piece, I call them boxes also, but I may be wrong on that.

    If it is hollowed out don't they call it a hollow form? I would call it pretty darn awesome. That is a beautiful piece.

    Thanks Joe. I guess i'll keep calling them boxes till someone corrects me.

    Thanks Paul.Yes it is hollowed out but as it's got a finial and a base not sure really what to call it.

    Good stuff, Steve. I see you're getting the finials thinner and thinner.

    I also never know whether to call them hollow forms with a finial or a box. I vote that we invent a new term: Bollow Hox

    Nice HF Stephen. I see like Vaughn said you are getting your finials and pedestals more delicate.
