Now that my organ project is done I wanted to get back to my lathe. This is a bowl that I started last fall. It is from an apple tree that I took down in my yard last summer. It was not easy to turn due to the rotted section but I wanted to be sure to leave it in place. I don't have much experience turning so it is a learning process for me.

Vaughn is right. The inclusion makes the bowl look really interesting.
