    Question Spiral railing end?

OK, I can handle making gose neck railing parts. Even arched molding it not bad,but making a spiral on the end of a railing where it goes to the newel post. I was thinking to make a few extra feet and then take and miter the peices and then so how glue and clamp. Will this work or is their a better way. The wood is poplar so it is easy to mill.

I knw it has been awhile since I have been here, but things have happend and now starting to get back to norm(as close as I ever was)

Hey Al, glad your back. I'll give some thought as to your question.

Yeah, didnt completly lose the biz. Just had to do a major down size. But looks like a few good size contracts are coming down the pipeline.
