Great work, Chas. :thumb: I prefer the form of the second bowl, but I really like the rope rim on the first one. Did you do that by hand, or do you have some other trick hiding up your sleeve? :D
 
Hi Vaughn, the rope trick was an early play with a texturing and spiralling tool I acquired recently, like all things offered as a "great tool" there is more to getting the results you envision than the videos would have you believe.

Nice ones again. I like the view of the woods also. Saw some big ants in those woods!

I really like the "rope addition on the first bowl. I have the Sorby's small texture/spirial tool but I don't seem to use it as much as I thought I would. I'll have to dig it out and give it another chance.
