    Ring Necked Pheasant

Feathers surrounding a Titanium Gold/Black Titanium Elegant Beauty.

Painted Sierra series tube with Krylon White Fusion spray paint, attached three different types of Ring Necked Pheasant feathers to the painted tube, cast with Polyester resin using Resin Saver mold.

Finished with 400x, buffed with super fine steel wool and polished with Hut Ultra Gloss.

As always comments and or suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks for looking.

    Les

Les, I have run out of superlatives.

Great looking pen Les. Do you alternate the feather directions or are they all going the same direction?

    Thanks Darren,

I like to have all the feathers running in the same direction with the quill end of the feathers at the nib end of the pen.

What a nice pen. Definitely a piece to show and a keepsake. I never would have thought of doing something like that. I need to get out of the box and try something different. I have only turned purchased pen blanks.
