I have a special project and I need a piece of olive about 3" square. It is to turn a special container.

Anybody?

Carol.
Call the Queen Creek olive mill, they may have some trimmings that will give you the size blank you need. They are the only olive grove I know of in AZ.

Didn't olive trees counteract all the health benefits of living in the desert (around Phoenix)? When I lived there, I kept hearing how there were so many allergies developed after everyone planted olive trees around the area :dunno::dunno:

Jim Burr gets my Good Guy Award!

Not only did he send two chunks of Olive, he included a great pen as well!

I can't wait either, Rob! :rofl::rofl:

Actually the plan is to make 4 small goblets with stainless inserts for wine and a lidded vessel to hold the bread for a portable communion kit. I need one for hospital and home visits. The wine container will be a small silver flask. The box they all go in is still under design process.

Slowly the parts are coming together.
