    my flag

This is the flag I fly in front of my home. Are you surprised? Anyhow, I thought the combination of a brisk breeze and the fall colors made an interesting pic. I share with y'all.

Ooh...you're just starting to get some nice colors there Frank. Living here in the Land of Perpetual Green, I miss seeing the fall color changes.

Your flag is in pretty good condition. Would have thought it would be a bit tattered by now since its a couple of hundred and thirty three years old.

Missing a couple of stars too...

Sharon bought a replacement for ours and put it up herself. We've got a spare in the closet for when that one wears out.

I've got a little solar powered light I pretend to think keeps it lit up at night. It does ok, but I probably should be better about putting it up and taking it down...

When my son was in Iraq I had three up and lit. The American flag, the Air Force flag and the Blue Star Banner.

Me and my flintlock rifle are pretty good at keeping the Redcoats at a distance.
