Something different...for me

Hollow forms isn't something I have done a lot of as I don't really have the equipment but I have been having a go lately using a 3/8ths spindle gouge and a hook tool. These are all in the region of 5 1/2" - 6" tall and hollowed to approx 10mm thick. Woods include hawthorn (reddish one) hazel (with a little mahogany collar) and pear (with a banksia nut collar.

Pete for not doing a lot of HF you sure did pull them 3 off. :thumb:

Now if i had to pick i'd go with the third one, but they all look good from here.

They all three look very nice, Pete. My favorite is the first one. primarily because I really like the elegant form.
