Salad bowl finish - multiple coats

I'm using the method Marc Spagnuolo has recommended on my cutting boards, and using GF Salad Bowl Finish. I will be using three coats with progressive sanding between each.

It says it will flash off in three days and be food safe. Do I need to wait for each coat to flash before I sand and reapply, or can I begin the next sand/coat once it's dry to the touch?
