    Something for fun

Makinfg snowmen and icicles can get boring so I popped down the clun this evening and did this for fun

8" x 4" deep Acacia: finished with wax polish
Foot yet to be removed leaving a curved base

Only two bits flew off and they were little ones so that was OK

Very very nice Pete... people here seem to like the pieces with bits missing... your bowl will go over well

That's a nice-looking bowl, Pete. I really like the acacia wood.

So...is there an American definition of "popped down the clun"?

OK so I have a dyslexic keyboard

Try 'club' instead. I am fortunate and belong to a turning club that is open 4 nights a week and any members can go along and use the equipment. There is always a tutor present as well.
