    There is definitely more to HS sports than wins and losses

    If this doesn't touch your heart, I don't know what will. It makes me proud to have been associated with Indiana high school sports through out my career as a, now retired, educator. I still am involved with middle school and high school athletics and know that many coaches and officials, in this position, would have reacted just like these gentlemen did.

    so cool, I had the unique expieriance of teaching some down syndrome kids how to snow ski. It was truly a unique expieriance. Very fulfilling.

    I learned of this on Sycamore Pride dot com--an Indiana State University sports message board. It certainly seemed worthwhile to post it here. Steve, thanks for the link. I'll post it there too--those guys will love seeing it.

    All kidding aside, it is truly a great story. I go to Jasper quit a lot. As with most towns around here, very friendly and thoughtful. Every now and then we get something right down here in the sticks
