    Chop Saw Question ???

I got out a chop saw I have today and tried to figure out how to put the blade on it. I am either missing a pc to it or Im not seeing how it goes together. The bolt is loose in the hole of any of the metal blades there are. I took it to the hardware store and slipped the bolt thru the hole in the other blades and it is smaller than the diameter of the hole in the blade............
Anybody think of anything or am i missing a pc to it ????

    Thanks Dan

Missing a bushing maybe? Maybe a special size hole in the blade? Google the model and see what comes up.

    Dan,
Mine is a Dewalt, but this is how it works.

The motor shaft is aprox " diameter

There is a steel spacer washer - inside dia, 1" outside dia.

The blade has a 1" hole fits over the spacer washer.

    Hope this helps

    Chop Saw Question ???

    Dan Mosley,

I have one of those with a broken handle. Motor, gears, etc, all good shape.)

You can have it, or anything from it you need. I will try to get it out of storage this week, if that is soon enough?

Dan Mooney, I think you are talking about a miter saw, and Dan Mosley has a metal chop saw.

    Aloha, Tony
