A little flatwork and metal project

Our new house has a shared mailbox post up the street and the house sits back from the road a bit. When the previous owners had the house sided, they never put numbers back up. The UPS guys have scolded my wife a couple of times as they had a hard time finding our house with no street numbers.

So the other night, I got out the ring roller and some 1/4 round rod and made up a stand, then welded a couple of rings on to hang the sign from. I drilled a couple of holes in the wall at the end of the drive way to mount it.

Good point! Not more than 10" at a time usually, so guess I'll just flip the sign upside down out of the snow, luckily the numbers will read the same.
