Hi All

Just joined the site and have found some interesting comments, I found the site while looking for oval turning jigs

About myself

I am a retired fire officer in the UK, I served in Lowestoft Suffolk am 60 years old and enjoying life

My Hobbies include Joinery, Carving, Turning and Intarsia on the woodwork side, I also enjoy painting

You all look like a great crowd on this site:thumb:and I shall enjoy browsing

Show us pictures of your area as well. We are a global community, with members all over the world. It is fun to see pictures of where you live, as well as what you do.

Besides we have these roving ambassadors who may drop in one day! Well, they do call first. :rofl: This is part and parcel of the family we are.

One time when I was visiting Vancouver having an adult beverage with some of the locals and we got to talking bought the states and Canada. someone mentioned (A local) that they drew the line wrong when they made it from east to west.
Should have made it go from north to south around the rocky mountains.:D
