I'm curious, who listens to music/radio/TV etc. in their shop while they're working?
I know Brent will respond, but I'm only responding because he constantly leaves the TV on out there and I end up hearing ghosts at night. He listens to either TV (mainly NASCAR, which I do too) or radio (Car Talk).
Do yourself and your hubby a favor and get an automatic shut-off after x-hours of non use. It's kind of freaky, hearing strange noises at night. And even freakier when you walk all the way to the garage at 2am and the TV is off
Hi,
I have a CD player and a fairly decent sounding music system in the shop (shop was our garage in the past 30 x 26).
My music tastes are eclectic. I have Symphonies, Big Band, Western, Instrumentals, Male Singers (pop, rock, Popular, Big Band era, light opera), Female Singers (ditto),
I only play it loud enough to be heard (when Glenn was a kid you could hear his music on the freeway---his group, his: pianos, organs, guitar, etc.). When wearing hearing protection for machinery I cannot hear my music.
I guess you learned more than you wanted to didn't you?
Oh yes, I love music, I cannot carry a tune or play an instrument.
Enjoy,
Jim
I love music, but like Jim can't carry a tune in a bucket and only instrument I play is a radio and that's not done well.
Like Chuck and Jim I cannot carry a tune or play an instrument, but I can carry an instrument!Oh yes, I love music, I cannot carry a tune or play an instrument.
