    Computer Battery

Hey tech guys, where is a good place to get a replacement battery for a Dell laptop? Wife's Dell needs a new one.

Check with Dell. There was a recall not too long ago. They were giving free replacements.

Bob's correct, might be under the recall.

I've had good luck with http://www.batteriesplus.com in the past.

Usually on Amazon, Newegg, or Tiger direct.

By the way...Dell had a big issue with battery's and there is a recall on it. Check out Dell's website. Mine went bad and I got a free one. Worth a shot

Did anybody mention Dell may have a recall on you battery?

Tiger direct has been a good supplier of other goodies for me (no batteries yet)

Speaking of recall, I seem to recall that Dells don't use batteries anymore. Only Macs need 'em. I read it on the Interwebs or somewhere.
