    doing a family member a favor!!!!

    he hasnt been around much latly and now we know why this was brought to my attention by tom niemi, so its not my luck its toms...
    this is our "hutch" hutchinson.

    That sure is an amazing piece. I had followed the progress on another forum and it was really exciting to see how it turned out.

    Hey Matt, that is absolutely amazing A co-worker of mine went to Art Prize and knowing I am into wood, saw your work and thought of me and brought me your card with the picture of the turning. I was shocked to be able to say "I know him, I have met him" So I think it is a foot or so in size until I go to your web sight and BANG WOW HUGE Great piece, again AMAZING. Congrats on top 50, that in its self is a great honor

    Thanks for all the great comments!

    Yeah, I pretty much was living and breathing Artprize for 4+ months, but now I am back to normal again. No more 5' vases for a VERY long time!

    congratulations on the piece and the show.

    man, that was some big lathe.

    and that caliper, whoa.......could lift a block of ice with that.
